Hello,
So I read that with an Interrail global pass you can have one Inbound and one outbound yourney out of your country of residence. Because Interrail is not intended as a commuter ticket or something like that. My question is if I can travel trough my country of residence without it counting as the return journey. For example I live in Germany and I want to travel to Denmark and after that to Poland I would have to go trough Germany again. Does that count as the inbound yourney even tough I wont stay in Germany?

Thank you for your answers!

Hi.
No that's not possible. It is sad for Germans as you always have to cross Germany if you want to travel from Scandinavia to other countries more in the south. Best option is to buy for this trip a "Sparpreis" ticket of Deutsche Bahn well in advance.

There is a ferry service from Copenhagen to Swinoujscie (Poland) for about 40 Euro (maybe there are saver fares available). Check: https://rail.shop/polferries

Peter :)

Hi.
There is the "Bayern Ticket" which allows you to travel from Memmingen to for example Castle Neuschwanstein.
You can buy if for one up to fiver persons. It is available as digital ticket or just get it at a ticket machine at the stations.
Read here for more details: https://www.bahn.de/en/view/offers/regional/regional-day-ticket-for-bavaria.shtml
Castle Neuschwanstein requires a bus transfer from railway station Füssen to the castle itself. Read here the details of this trip including a video:

Video including all information about train and bus: https://youtu.be/H7ckkP_nUR0
Enjoy your trip, Peter :)
