hey
we started our planning a little early for this summer's trip...we plan to travel to ancona and would like to visit italy, france, possibly northern spain, belgium, holland, germany and switzerland. we would like to see the major cities, spending a couple of days in places like paris and amsterdam but we would also like to see some of the countryside. can anyone propose a possible route and some less known places outside the major cities for us to visit?

On your way from Brussels to Amsterdam you may want to stop at Antwerpen for one or two nights.
