Hi
Any thoughts on doing the following in 22 days?

London - Paris - Congac - Bordeuax - Biarritz - Barcelona - Nice - Geneva - Interlaken - Lucerne - Milan - Parma - Florence - Rome - Naples - Bari - Dubrovnik - Zagreb - Budapest - Vienna - Berlin.

Taking night trains wherever possible. I've calculated it as ~74 hours on a train not including waiting times.

thanks
Matt

Well, sure, it should be possible to find connections to make the route doable in 22 days.

Reccomended? Definitely not. We're talking 22 destinations in 22 days, with some of the stops being the great capitals of Europe. Thing is, a lot of the routes you mention are mid-distance routes, taking 3-4 hours or so - making it impossible to get a good night's sleep in a couchette, but, with transport to and from railway stations, might fill up half a day in your schedule. So, you'll end up with an evening or an afternoon in many of your destinations, making it possible to get a brief glimpse of the main sights (I did the same thing in Berlin), but not enough toget to know a city properly (and you'll be dizzy after a few days).

Take out half of the stops, focus on a single country, the great capitals, or whatever you prefer, and it might be doable. Good luck. :)
