My friend suggested yesterday going away, i have heard of interRail but do not know anyone who has done it we are thinking 9 days as i have not got alot of holiday left

BUT where do we go? we have not seen much of europe but not too sure how it all works

We have to fly to where we want to start? or could go through france? (starting in London)

Hi Kate.

A good option is to have a look at the country details: https://rail.cc/en/countries

Often you will find the best places during your tour when talking to other travellers!

Especially for InterRailers living in the UK it is the cheapest way to leave the UK by plane. Or have a look at this blog post: https://rail.cc/blog/london-to-paris-by-eurostar-train-bus-or-ferry/

If you only want to see Croatia, then normal train tickets are cheaper. If you want to travel by InterRail, think about a pass: 5 travel days within a period of 10 days: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-global-pass

Then you can even travel from the UK to France, Italy, Croatia: https://rail.cc/en/first-time-interrail

Night trains: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train
Reservations: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
