Interrail: Alicante - Zaragoza - La Spezia - Pisa - Lucca

Hi,

I need some help and some questions answered to make the organising easier!!

The route the two of us (18 & 19) plan to take is starting in Lisbon and ending in Rome.
But we would like to stop at the easiest places out of these towns,

In spain: Alicante and Zaragoza.
Any suggestions for South Coast of France?
And in Italy: La Spezia, Pisa and maybe Lucca.

Would I be best getting the 22 day youth interrail pass?
And would I have to pay on any trains with the pass?
Also, would anyone know from experience if July or August would be a better time?

😲

and i forgot to ask, can you pay for the supplements at the stations?

hej hej ...
just some short information...

you can buy the reservation at the stations. for more details: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation

for train connections: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

and if you have to pay extra for some trains depends if they are listed here or not: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation

all the best, Peter 🙂
