Hi,

I've just purchased a global pass, i'm starting my trip on the 15th in Faro Portugal.

Firstly if i use the website to check traintimes will it specify whether i need to pay a supplement or make a reservation?

Is there a difference between supplements and reservations? Is it the case that for some trains making a reservation is free?

If the train does not require a reservation/supplement do i just walk onto the train and show my interail ticket when asked? or do i have to go to the ticket office and show the interrail pass there? What is the proceedure?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi.

1) Have a look here for reservations: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
schedules here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
and a schedule planer here: [ux]http://plan.rail.cc[/ux]

2) If a supplement is needed, you have to pay it. a reservation can be done but you don't need it.
on some special trains a reservation is required: then you can call it a hidden supplement.

3) Just jump into the train. if you need a reservation/supplement, buy it before at a station or via internet. :)
