Hey!

We are 4-5 boys in the age 17-18 from Norway. We will go on a 22 days trip through Europe, that will start 22. june. We have som quesstions about how much it will cost and if someone have some youth hostels/motels they will recomeand.

Price: How much will it cost? (aprox.)
- Cheap youth hostels/motels
- Eat OK food,not luxuary
- Drink some beers every night
- Turist attractions
We thinks it will cost aprox. 1700 Euros (ticket included)

Do someone some places they will recommend where we can sleep ?
The cities we are going to visit are:
Copenhagen
Amsterdam
Paris
Nice/Cannes
Rome
Florence
Munich
(Hamburg)

I hope someone will answer as fast as possible :)

Hi.

So you selected some expensive cities you will stay... ! ;)
For hostels: when you sleep in a dorm, you will find beds for something around 15-20 EUR.
Food is cheap in the big cities... if you avoid restaurants and prefer eating on the street... so you will get a meal for 5 EUR. But also buy just some cheap bread and marmalade or meat.
A beer... in a supermarket 0,5 litres for around 1 EUR or a bit more... in a bar 3-4 EUR.

As hostels I can recommend you the followings as I stayed there already - but I chosed some which are a mix between cheap price and good quality:

Copenhagen: Sleep-in-Heaven - https://rail.cc/en/copenhagen/accommodation/c
Amsterdam: Flying Pig - https://rail.cc/en/amsterdam/accommodation/c
Paris: St. Christophers - https://rail.cc/en/paris/accommodation/c
Nice: Villa Saint Exupery - https://rail.cc/en/nice/accommodation/c
Rome: Happy Days Roma - https://rail.cc/en/rome/accommodation/c
Florence: Archi Rossi - https://rail.cc/en/florence/accommodation/c
Munich: Euro Youth Hostel - https://rail.cc/en/munich/accommodation/c

for all hostels I recommend to make a reservation at least 2-3 days in advance when travelling in the summer months... :)

and on your way back, visit Berlin... and go to the part of the town called Friedrichshain, with a lot of bars, cheap bear and restaurants on the street... then use the night train from Berlin to Malmö (Sweden) and go on the Norway... this one s cheap: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/berlin-malmoe-en-300/58

but maybe someone knows better places to stay ?!? :)
have fun, Peter :)
