Hi

We (a family of 2 adults and 2 kids) are planning to interail to Prague from England, we wanted to do the night train from zurich to prague and in reverse back but am confused by the reservations, are the prices per person or per cabin? they don\'t have them listed at all on the interail site only here, And it says 45E for a 3 bed cabin which could mean altogether for the whole cabin? (which would do us fine as the littlest one could snuggle in with me) but if it is 45E per person would we be better going in the day time a different route, or buying this journey separate to the interrail ticket and saving a \'days\' travel?

Thanks for any advice
S

Hi!

Prices for seat/couchette/sleeper reservation are always per person.

...we often have some extra information you don\'t find at the official site... ;)
Anyway you can support us buy buying your tickets through our partner link with interrail.eu: [ux]http://rail.shop/interrail/[/ux] - thank you! No extra costs for you of course :)

Here is a short blog post about the night train: [ux]https://rail.cc/blog/prague-zurich-night-train/[/ux]

The night train indeed is a bit expensive... https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/zurich-prague-en-50467/493

You can check regular (advance) fare prices for the night train on the site of CD (Czech Railways) at [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux]
If you decide to travel during the day you could think about making an intermediate stop en route (including an overnight stay) as well, depending on your planned route.
