1.check bahn.de-there is a choice between:
fast and 2 hourly ICE trains that do NBOT stop at airport, so use local train to either DUSseldorf HBF or Duisburg. Cheapoer if booked lomng advance but with trains fixed-so you loose money if plane is very late.
OR hourly local ABELLIO train to Arnhem from Airport station (get there by dangle-bahn) then local NS train. In that case buy apart-VRR ticket stufe D till A, then from NS. Can choose any train, VRR must be stamped before use. Find times on bahn and click on ''only nahverkehr''
