hello

some questions!!
1 - where do i find info about the trains which are travel-free for interrail?

2 - i'm planning to buy the ticket in frankfurt, and then go basel - stuggard - munich - berlim - hannover - amsterdam - brussels - paris.
is it too long for a 10days ticket?, we're planning to travel by night.

3- the best would be to travel the fastest way at night, but all i can find is tgv and there doesn't say anything about interrail.

HELP Peter!!!!!!

Hi.

here your answers:

1) just use this website to find train schedules. train schedules are available up to 3 months in advance of the date of today: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
the trains which are listed here ( https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation ) are with supplements. the other ones of the rail companies of the countries are free of supplements.

2) do you want to buy a 5 days within 10 or a 10 travel days within 22. for the first time it is a bit too much if you want to stay overnight in some of the cities.

3) night trains are listed: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train
or go on the country topics here at the forum, there are even more listed.
if you select at the link of the train schedules above and fill in a departure time of 1700h, you will get listed the night trains as well.
all these connections you need are by CNL: https://rail.cc/en/night-train/germany/de
but most of the connections aren't really long distances, so you can do them by day train. except maybe Munich to Berlin or Munich to Brussels/Paris are worth by night train.

extra information about supplements (they are as well all listed at the link of supplements above):
Germany is a really good country for InterRailers, as the night trains are cheap and the day trains are free !!! :)
ICE (Germany): free
IC: free
TGV (France): 3-15 EUR
ICE/TGV (crossing German-French border): 5 EUR
THALYS (Brussels to Paris or Cologne Brussels): 13-32 EUR

have a good time and a lot of fun... if you want to support railcc , buy your official ticket at [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
the delivery is by secure mail !! :)
Peter :)
