My wife and I will be traveling from Belgium (Brussels or Antwerp) to Moscow on September 10 . Where is the best place online to buy a 1st class ticket? Will we have to ride 2 trains or can we travel on one train? We would like to see the different countries, so we are choosing not to fly. Any tips? Thank you kindly for any help and suggestions!

Hi.
It is a trip with one change.

First travel from Antwerp or Brussels by Thalys train to Paris.
Journey time is about xxx h.
Tickets for first class available from xx EUR.
Buy your ticket at https://rail.shop/omio or https://rail.shop/omio

You will arrive in "Paris Gare du Nord".
There you change and walk to "Paris Gare de l'Est". It is a walk of 15 minutes, very easy.
Calculate enough time to change trains in case of delays. Minimum is two hours.

From Paris you travel by direct Transeuropean Express to Moscow. It departs only once per week on Thursday: https://rail.cc/night-train/paris-moscow-en-453-24j/450
The ticket is available on https://rail.shop/russiantrain or https://rail.shop/rzd

For more information and photos of how the trains look like, check our blog and the film:

Enjoy your trip, Peter :)
