buy here Buy your train reservation at a railway station. These are usually available at stations in all countries where a particular train runs through. In many countries, especially in central and eastern Europe you can also buy reservations for trains in other countries. In some countries (for instance in the Netherlands or Spain) you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter.
Rychlik are fast trains running on all main lines in the Czech Republic. They only stop at larger stations and cities and connect all parts of the country. Rychlik are generally slower than Expres, InterCity or EuroCity trains but faster than other services. On the most important routes you will find "Rx" trains, which are Rychlik with an enhanced level of comfort, consisting of refurbished or new rolling stock only.
Trains usually consist of older, refurbished coaches with 2nd and 1st class:
- air-condition on some coaches
- power sockets on some coaches
- bicycle transport on most trains
- facilites for passengers with reduced mobility on most trains
