Buy your train reservation at a railway station. These are usually available at stations in all countries where a particular train runs through. In many countries, especially in central and eastern Europe you can also buy reservations for trains in other countries. In some countries (for instance in the Netherlands or Spain) you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter.

The "DB ÖBB Eurocity" trains are international express trains operated by German (DB) and Austrian (ÖBB) railways. The trains run on the route from Munich via Innsbruck and Bolzano to Verona in Italy. Some trains continue beyond Verona to Bologna, Rimini or Venice. Between Innsbruck and Bolzano the trains run via the beautiful Brenner railway line.

Trains consists of modern Intercity stock of ÖBB. All trains offer seats in 2nd and 1st class carriages.

- equipped for persons with reduced mobility
- bicycle storage

Seat reservation is not required but can be handy especially in 1st class and during peak travel times.
