Buy your train reservation at a railway station. These are usually available at stations in all countries where a particular train runs through. In many countries, especially in central and eastern Europe you can also buy reservations for trains in other countries. In some countries (for instance in the Netherlands or Spain) you have to pay a service fee at the ticket counter.

Express InterCity Premium (EIP) are the flagship trains of PKP Intercity. The high speed trains are capaple of running up to 250 km/h currently operate at speeds of up to 200 km/h on the lines from Warsaw to Gdansk, Krakow, Katowice and Wroclaw. Some trains are extended to other destinations.

EIP are modern high speed trains built by Alstom. They have 1st and 2nd class accomodation and a bistro car. Trains are equipped with air-condition, power sockets, have facilities for the disabled and can convey bicycles. Wifi will be fitted to the trains in the near future. In 1st class you will find three seats per row (2+1) in open-plan arrangement, in 2nd class there are four seats per row (2+2) in open plan arrangement. Three compartments with four seats are available in 2nd class for families with children.
