I am going interrailing the end of August and into September with 2 other people.. So far this is my plan:
Amsterdam for 3 days, Berlin for 2 days, Prague for 3 days, Budapest for 4 days, Split/Hvar for 3 or 4 days then Dubrovnik for 2 or 3 days..
We are trying to get to Barcelona from here but we are unsure what route to take? one idea was traveling back up towards Split after Dubrovnik then onto Zagreb then maybe Milan to Nice and then onto Barcelona..?
Has anyone any input on this plan on how we could make it better or what your opinion is? Originally we had Krakow as part of our trip but decided to take it out, Would anyone recommend Krakow or..? Also we were planning on getting night trains form Prague to Budapest and then from Budapest to Split.. we're not really sure where else we might need to get a night trains. Also , roughly how much do sleepers and couchettes cost??
Thanks! :) o) :D

Hi.
Krakow is definitely an interesting city and worth to stop there. Close by you will also find Auschwitz if you are interested in history.
You can easily add it between Prague and Budapest.

Just have a look on the train connections like already told in previous posts, you will find them here: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route

For the extra reservations on night trains: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train

Concerning your route from Croatia, just check the answers in your previous posts. Either by ferry from Split to Italy, or via Zagreb - Ljubljana - Venice: https://rail.cc/blog/travel-lake-bled-train/
