1) I want go the fastest possible travel from either Riga or Ventspils to reach Mazeikiai in Lithuania.
2) Are there any directtours from either Riga or Ventspils? Busnumber from the two startingpoints?
3) If not - which busnumbers or combination train/bus is preferable?
4) Can one pay omboard bus or train?

Hi Anders, welcome to railcc!
At the moment there are no rail connections between Latvia and Lithuania. You can to cross the border by bus. You can look for bus schedules (and also buy tickets) at [ux]https://www.autobusubilietai.lt/[/ux]
As you can see the journey takes quite a lot of time since there are no direct trains from RIga to Mazeikiai.

But there is Another option for me and tht would be go from Ventspils but the site does not accept I write that as departure. What bus station shall I fill in if I want go by bus from Ventspils to Mazeikiai?

You may also check [ux]https://www.1188.lv/en/transport[/ux] for bus schedules in Latvia; LuxExpress is a company running many international services in the Baltics as well: [ux]http://luxexpress.eu/[/ux]
You could also travel from Ventspils to Liepaja (see 1188.lv), then go to Klaipeda: [ux]http://www.liepajasture.lv/en/satiksme.html[/ux] then go to Mazeikiai (see autobusubilietai.lt).

I read some touristsite on Ventspils and they claimed there were a bus station OUTSIDE Ventspils? But when I try write Ventspils as departure station the site refuse to accept it but I therefore dont understand what I shall fill in as departure station? Anyone have any idea? Ventspils to Mazeikiai?

Sorry, I cant help you any further. It seems that there are no international services from Ventspils and that you have to buy separate tickets as explained above:
