The Hostel Ruthensteiner in Vienna is a very pleasant and international hostel. With a good self-catering kitchen and a garden in the inner courtyard. Good to relax. You can even use the barbecue. Close to the station Wien Westbahnhof (5 minutes walk). At least one Raildude already stayed here overnight and can recommend this hostel. This hotel is one of the "new generation" and offers with 250 modern rooms (air-conditioned) a pleasant stay. The location is good and easy to reach (metro station Praterstern and Vorgartenstraße) The Danube island is just like the Prater in walking distance. If you step out of the hotel, you can see already the top of St. Stephen's Cathedral in the distance. The city center is easy to reach by subway. 24-hour front desk. Very friendly staff. Free WIFI (works not only in the hotel lobby, but also in the rooms). Those who like a good coffee can use the Nespresso in the breakfast room. In the adjacent ibis hotel there is lunch: you can eat cheap, dish of the day 6-7 EUR. We were very satisfied guests here and would not hesitate to book here again.
