Plattjen
This attractive viewpoint offers some nice views. Walk about 5 minutes by foot to the viewpoint of the man-made Mattmark dam. Starting walks for: - Hiking trail to Mattmark dam - Round route to Felskin station. ALL cableways and buses in the Saas valley are for free when you stay for 2 days or longer!!!
Mittelallalin
The beginning of all skipaths. Including overall summer-skiing. ALL cableways and buses in the Saas valley are for free when you stay for 2 days or longer. Metro Alpin towards Mittelallalin is NOT. Ticket Mittelallalin CHF 36.- (2015), where Saas-Fee to Felskin is free on your Saas-pas (Bürgerpass). Offers a rotating restaurant for the best view.
Felskinn
Felskinn is the start of the MetroAlpin towards Mittelallalin. ALL cableways and buses in the Saas valley are for free when you stay for 2 days or longer!!! MetroAlpin is not included (CHF 36,-). The 'normal' Alpin Express cableway comes here via a stop in Morenia. Only in winter the Felskinbahn runs here, next to it. Starting point of some hiking paths towards the Britannia and Felskin hut and Plattjen.
Spielboden
A place you have to go to! Cableway it self is poor and old, but you will find here Murmeltiere (Marmot). They live here free in the ground. Walk just down under need the cableway. They are not really shy but won't touch you. If you are really lovely and calm your changes are greater! You can feed them as well, carrots and nuts are mostly given. ALL cableways and buses in the Saas valley are for free when you stay for 2 days or longer!!!
