The ferry port of HVV can be used with a regular ticket of the HVV.
If you buy a day-pass, it is valid for subway, commuter trains and buses (NOT for express buses!) AND also the harbour ferries.

[b]Recommended:[/b] a trip across the Elbe starting from the Landungsbrücken (U3, S1, S3) with the ferry line 62 ind direction of Finkenwerder. Get off at Neumühlen / Övelgönne and go to the beach of river Elbe (Elbstrand).
