An underground world of wine. Over 1.5 million bottles of wine are stored in lime stone caves. Tours are by car with a guide at around the price of £40pp which includes a traditional Moldovan dinner with live folk music in traditional dress, 3 bottles of wine - white, sparkling and a high quality red. Also a bottle of red and white to take away with you (per person!). The tour lasts for 2.30hrs. There are shorter and cheaper tours to experience. It's dark, spooky and romantic. Even Steven Segal has visited Milestii Mici! A must-do in Moldova, not to be missed. Unsure of the opening times as it is not listed on the website. But tours have to be pre-booked.
