Hi,
Is it definitely possible to travel from Sofia to Belgrade on the train? The interrail website says you take the International "Balkan" (INT 490) or the International night train "Nusic" (NT 292), however when I search on the Rail Planner app, these aren\'t appearing at the moment. We would be travelling in July, so maybe these trains don\'t run in winter months? If anyone has any information, that would be amazing; this is quite important for our route planning. Thanks, Matt

Hi Matt, welcome to railcc!

The "Nusic" night train is withdrawn since December 2016 and wont run in 2018: [ux]https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/sofia-belgrade-b-292/180[/ux]

The "Balkan" day train will run directly from Sofia (dep 09:40) to Belgrade (arr 18:37) during the summer months from June 15 to September 17, 2018.
During the rest of the year a connecting service will operate, requiring changes of trains in Dimitrovgrad and Nis.
