Is racism a problem on Interrail - in my eyes not, I have never seen problems with racism!!!

In Finland we have a lot of racists. That's not a good thing at all. I can be sure that no-one's still going to kick your friend's ass. I think there are less racists in Southern Europe because people there have darker skins than here in north :D

I think everywhere are strange people.. In the African bush, in Japan and also in Europe.. But it's not especially high.

I think that European people are used to see people from different cultures and civilizations so hopefully there won't be a problem with racism. The way one looks alike must not be a problem when travelling and enjoying Europe!
