Hello,

I have seen on this website that the reservation of the Euronight Metropol via the DB website is only possible if the departure or the arrival station is in Germany. But, we would like to travel with this train from Praha to Vienna. Is it possible ? And if it\'s possible, how can I book my train tickets ?

Thanks a lot for your answers,

Pauline Wauters

Hi Pauline,

seat reservation on the EN Metropol is compulsory only for travels to/from Germany. If you are travelling from Prague to Vienna seat reservations are not required. However, as you are travelling in a large group of 15 people I would recommend to get a seat reservation anyway as the train can be really full especially during summer season and there is only limited capacity (just one single carriage with 66 seats).

You can make seat reservations online on the website of Czech Railways: [ux]https://rail.shop/cd[/ux] - the website is currently being updated so that the english website is still in the old design which can be accessed here: [ux]https://old.cd.cz/eshop/[/ux]
The menu should be self explainatory; select route and date, then select "Document: supplementary services, reservation" and continue with booking. It is possible to make 15 seat reservations at once, this costs 2070 CZK (77€/5€ per person).
