Hello to everybody,
I wanted to ask if my interrail global pass is valid in S-Bahn in Berlin and how do I use it. I mean it needs to be in a travel day?
Thanks a lot :-)

Hi.

Yes you can use your Interrail pass on the S-Bahn in Berlin, as S-Bahn is operated by Deutsche Bahn (national German railways). But you will need one travel day of your pass. Interrail is NOT valid on the U-Bahn (subway) and buses, as they are operated by BVG (Berlin public transportation).

If you arrive in Berlin by train and want to continue to your hostel [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux] or hotel [ux]https://rail.shop/bookingcom[/ux] , use the S-Bahn (as you already use a travel day for the train).

If you only want to travel around in Berlin a whole day, a day-ticket for Euro 7 is the best choice. You can buy it online or at ticket machines. This day-ticket is also my personal choice, when I\'m in Berlin. Easy to use for S-Bahn, U-Bahn, buses, etc... :)

Find more information here: [ux]https://shop.bvg.de/index.php/group/61[/ux]

And finally... if you like the free content on rail.cc , buy your official Interrail pass via our partner link at no extra costs for you, but support of rail.cc [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - thank you! :)

Pete :)
