Most long-distance trains are overnight trains with different types of sleeper accomodation. On some routes between major cities there are also long-distance day trains with seats only.
If you want to travel by train from the Ukraine to Azerbaijan there are two direct trains per week between Kharkiv (Ukraine) and Baku (Azerbaijan). The journey time for this route is about 52 hours.

If you want to travel from Ukraine to Moldova by train, buy your ticket at a train station. There are direct trains from Odessa and Kyiv to Chisinau.

There are night trains from Kyiv to Warsaw as well as from Lviv to Krakow, Wroclaw and Warsaw. Additionally a day train runs from Kyiv and Lviv to Przemysl.
If you want to travel from Ukraine to Romania by train, buy your ticket locally at a station in Ukraine. There are no online tickets for international journeys available.
Currently, the only border crossing with international trains between Ukraince and Romania is between Vadul Siret and Suceava. There are two daily trains, one of which runs from Vadul Siret to Bucharest. At Vadul Siret there are gauge changing facilites and a night train from Kyiv to Bucharest runs here once weekly. You also have local trains running to Vadul Siret from Chernivtsi.
Another option to travel between the two countries is the border crossing between Solotvino and Sighetu Marmatiei. You can travel to Solotvino by night train from Lviv or with local trains from Batovo. Bus connections are available from Rakhiv. Cross the border on foot to get to Sighetu. From there you can travel with night trains to Timisoara and Bucharest.
