There are frequent connections by train from Germany to Austria. To buy your train ticket, please use one of the booking links.

Buy your train tickets directly from Belgian Railways (SNCB/NMBS) or German Railways (DB) via our buying links. Tickets for Thalys services are also available on the Thalys website.

ICE and Thalys high speed services from Cologne and Frankfurt to Brussels are the fastest connections on the route. Cheaper regional trains run from Aachen to Welkenraedt with connections from Cologne and to Brussels.

To travel by train from Germany to Spain, the main route leads trough France to Barcelona and on to your final destination in Spain.
Either buy one train ticket from Germany to Spain via the given booking links. Or split the booking in two tickets: Germany to France (Paris) and France (Paris) to Spain (Barcelona). It might be the case that you need another ticket for travelling inside Spain, but finally depends on your route.

Depending on where you start in Germany (and where you want to travel to in France), you can either use the route via Cologne by Thalys to Paris. Or from Frankfurt or Stuttgart via Strasbourg/Saarbrücken to Paris by TGV/ICE. There is also a direct train from Frankfurt in direction of Marseille.

If you want to use a night train, have a look at the Russian night train Moscow to Paris (enter in Berlin). A very nice experience and high quality.

One train is coming from Paris with stops in Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Frankfurt and Berlin. The second starts from Berlin. Both trains run via Warsaw, Brest and Minsk to Moscow - and return. They do not run daily.

DE Německo SE Švédsko

Tickets to selected destinations in Sweden are available from DB (German Railways) directly via our partner link.

The "Sparpreis Europa" saver fares are available to cities such as Göteborg, Stockholm and Malmö. They always include transit through Denmark using either DB IC Buses or EC trains. From Copenhagen to Sweden, tickets are only available for travel with either SJ high speed trains (designated as "X2" when booking) or the Oresund regional trains. It is not possible to book a ticket valid on both types of trains!

If you want to travel with the Berlin - Malmö night train in the summer you have to book it separately too from the operator "Snalltaget".

How to buy tickets:

- buy a saver fare ticket via the Deutsche Bahn booking link from Germany to Sweden. These saver fares are available for example to Malmö, Göteborg or Stockholm.

- if it is not possible to book the whole trip in one ticket via the Deutsche Bahn link, split it into two bookings:
First ticket from Germany to Malmö, Göteborg or Stockholm via the booking link of Deutsche Bahn.
Second ticket from Malmö, Göteborg or Stockholm to your destination in Sweden via the ACPRail/SJ booking link.

Between Czech Republic and Slovakia you will also find private express trains Regiojet and Leo Express. These do not accept tickets issued by the national railways of Germany, Czech Republic or Slovakia.
