You will find international ticket counters at the train stations of larger cities (Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Varna). At many stations, international tickets are sold at specific ticket offices, called RILA agencies, which are separate from the domestic ticket offices. There are no online tickets available.

There are two rail connections between Bulgaria and Romania, both cross the Danube on a large bridge: from Ruse to Giurgiu, where the train from Sofia to Bucharest runs and from Vidin to Calafat.

2c Travelling from Sofie (Bulharsko) to Bělehrad (Srbsko)

If you want to travel from Bulgaria to Serbia by train, buy your train ticket locally at a train station in Bulgaria. You will find international ticket counters at the train stations of larger cities (Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Varna).
