From Stockholm Central Station take Metro Red Line 13 towards Ropsten. Get off at Karlaplan.
Change to bus Nr. 1 in direction of Frihamnen.

There are as well direct buses of Tallink Silja Line available - ask for departure times at the purchase of your ferry ticket.
