Hello and welcome.
Currently the situation is as described here: https://rail.cc/en/eurail-night-train/munich-rome-nj-295/35
To buy a reservation more or less online, call Austrian national railway ÖBB. They provide the Nightjet service. Phone number is: +43 5 1717. Payment is by credit card only. They send you the reservation by email.
Maybe it will change and online booking is possible soon - but don\'t wait for it.
Pete :)

Thank you for your helpful reply. Will I find someone who speaks English if I ring this number? Or can I send them an email explaining my request before ringing? I am in Australia. Also, alternatively can I book this reservation through the Eurail site?

Hi Lorraine,

currently, the reservation can only be booked by phone, either at ÖBB (+43 5 1717) or at ACPRail (+1 514-733-9865) - but don\'t worry about it, it\'s a fairly standard inquiry.

When calling ÖBB, just request to speak to someone in English (proficiency varies, but generally it shouldn\'t be an issue, they will find someone you can talk to) . Be sure to mention your desired class of accommodation (6-bed couchette, 4-bed couchette, 3-bed sleeper, 2-bed sleeper, 2-bed deluxe sleeper, etc. ) and that you have Eurail passes, as special rates apply.

If booking at ÖBB doesn\'t suit you, ACPRail might be an alternative for you, but be aware that they will send you the reservation as a letter through the mail and do charge a service fee, whereas the ÖBB customer service hotline does not and will send it to you by email. I think booking directly at ÖBB might be quicker and easier, as well as cheaper.

As far as I\'m aware, it\'s not possible to book this reservation on the Eurail site, nor on any other website.

Have a nice trip!
