Hello,
This isn't a train question as I am aware there are no trains from Gioia Tauro station to Cinquefrondi.
I am travelling to Italy for the first time to met family, I don't speak Italian.
I am finding it hard to work out bus time tables.

Can someone let me know how:
- I can book tickets?
-Or where to purchase tickets from the train station?
- The timetable times to Gioia Tauro-Cinquefrondi and from Cinquefrondi to Gioia Tauro I will be travelling in October around the second week.

Everything I have come across is in Italian.

Help will be really appreciated :)

Thank you

Hi.
There was in the past (up to 2011) a railway connection.
Now it is replaced by a bus.
Schedules here (click the tab Gioia Tauro): [ux]http://www.ferroviedellacalabria.it/fdc/orari-ferroviari/[/ux]
In the list of the schedules, you find the following annotations:
1: runs daily
2: only during school
3: only during school holidays
As much as I can understand, there is no passenger transportation on Sunday.
Buy the ticket at the bus driver, not possible online.
Pete :)

Thank you so much Pete! Big help :)
Do you know if it's hard to find the bus station or is it right near the train station?
I am after the bus around the second week of October on a Tuesday and a Thursday does it run on these days frequently? It's hard for me to really understand with the website in Italian :(
Thanks again!

Hi.
Just do like explained in my post before. Follow the link, click the tab Gioia Tauro, open the file Gioia Tauro - Cinquefrondi A/R (www.ferroviedellacalabria.it/fdc/contenuti/uploads/file/orari/gioia-cinquefrondi.xls) and you see all schedules. Compare it to the numbers I gave you. There you also see the departure stations. It is left hand from the railway station main exit. Simply ask - not complicate! :)
