I can\'t seem to find a train map online even on DB and goeuro website. How many train stations are there between Munich(Munchen) and Vienna Centrale? I need to know the exact names of the train stops because I don\'t want to miss my train stop..

Thanks!
Wency

Hi Wency!

Did you already book a particular train?

On most direct Railjet trains there are the following stops:
München Hauptbahnhof (Hbf, central station)
Salzburg Hbf
Linz Hbf
St. Pölten Hbf
Wien Meidling
Wien Hbf (central station)

All Railjet trains have information screens showing all intermediate stops as well as acoustic announcements about the next stop; so there is no need to worry to miss your station. :)

Hi Wency

You can also:
1. Login to the ÖBB Route Planner website (Scotty) .
2. Then fill in the details of the train you are going to catch, and click on "Search connection" which will result in the display on-screen of your train (possibly with other alternatives about the same time).
3. Click on the arrow to the left of your train. This will bring on-screen more details of your trip.
4. Then underneath you will see two small icons "Show intermediate stops" and "Show map". You can then click on one or both of these to show the information you would like to know.

I hope I have not made this sound too complicated, because it is really quite easy.

As Flo has said most direct Railjet trains stop at the stations he has indicated.
If you choose a trip which involves a change of trains, the stops (and/or map) for all sections of the trip will be shown.

Good luck with your search and with your trip.
