Information for travellers with normal train ticket travelling the route Tehran (Iran) to Damascus (Syria).
Train connection from [b]Tehran to Damascus[/b]. Direct night train available once per week.
Journey time: 2 1/2 days
Fare: ~EUR 60 including couchette (Tehran - Van) and sleeper (Tatvan - Damascus). The part Van - Tatvan is done by ferry (included in the full ticket).
Important: due to the political situation in Syria, the train may not run.
