Hello everyone! Trying to figure out the best way to do this. My main question: is it hard to reserve CNL train at Firenze station? That's really the only hitch in my proposed itinerary.

Hi.
It is easy to travel.
First use the direct night train Rome to Munich. Read here for details and below the map it is explained how to reserve the night train online: https://rail.cc/en/eurail-night-train/rome-munich-cnl-484/34
From Munich to Amsterdam use ICE trains - no need to reserve them (usually with a change in Frankfurt).
Other option is to spent the day in Munich and then by also direct overnight train Munich to Amsterdam (also available for online booking): https://rail.cc/en/eurail-night-train/munich-amsterdam-cnl418/12
To support the free information and the forum on railcc, please be fair and buy your official Interrail pass via our railcc partner link: [ux]https://rail.shop/eurail[/ux]
Thank you! :)
Peter :)
