Hello! It\'s my first time travelling with Interrail and I have some questions!
I\'m from Greece and I\'ll be travelling in Spain with a Global Pass.

1. Is the ferry from Greece to Italy included in the pass? or do I have to pay extra for the ticket?

2. I\'m a little confused with the inbound/outbound trip. Do the days of inbound/outbound trip count as regular travel days?

Thank you :)

1, Interrail Pass holders with a Pass valid in Greece AND Italy are entitled to free deck passage on Superfast ferries Patras/Igoumenitsa to Ancona/Venice/Bari. Holders of a 1st class Pass are entitled to travel for free in dormitories* or air type seats. If your Pass is valid in Greece OR Italy you\'ll get a 30% discount on full fare rates. You\'ll have to pay a seasonal surcharge (€ 10 in June and September/€ 20 in July and August) and port taxes (€ 7) and maybe a fuel surcharge.

Interrail Global pass holders can travel for free on Minoan Line service on the route Patras/Igoumenitsa – Ancona/Ravenna/Trieste. 2nd class pass holders travel for free on the deck and 1st class pass holders get free airline-type seats between Italy and Greece. The surcharges are the same as on Superfast ferries.

2. Yes, the day counts as normal travel day (so you must fill this date also in the travel calendar), but if you only use the overnight ferry service on this day you can choose whether you fill in the departure date or the arrival date in the travel calendar.
