Hi.
There are direct trains (not daily) from Moscow to Berlin.
Have a look at [ux]https://rail.shop/realrussia[/ux] and play a little bit with the options.
Tickets are available via the booking engine there or as well directly via Russian railways (but never tried it there).
Note that you will usually need a transit visa for crossing Belarus - or as you now live in Moscow (=Russia) is it possible without having one?
Other options are: first Moscow-Warsaw. And then a day train Warsaw-Berlin via [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux]
Peter :)

Of course you will need visa! Depending on your current status and nationality. As Peter already mentioned a transit visum for Belarus as well as a Schengen visa for entering the Schengen area will be necessary - you have to check that either directly at the relevant embassies or can also have a look beforehand online at the websites of the Belarussian and German foreign offices: http://www.germania.diplo.de/Vertretung/russland/de/03-jeka/1-visa/2-schengenvisa/0-schengenvisa.html http://mfa.gov.by/en/visa/

If you cant get a transit visa for Belarus you either have to travel through the Baltic states by train and bus or via Ukraine - but both options require quite a lot of time so if you just want to go to Berlin you might have a look into a simple flight.
Yes, you need a visa to enter Poland which is also part of Schengen area. However if you are heading to Berlin/Germany you should apply for a Schengen visa at the German embassy. If you get that visa you are then normally entitled to travel to and through all Schengen countries.
You will have to ask at an embassy for further details about the visa.
