Sorry for all my questions, but I have a problem with Memmingen!

I want to go to Memmingen by train from Munchen, and on my European Rail Timetable book I have found the following:

Munchen Hbf depart: 09:51
Memmingen arrive: 11:22

(The train keeps on going to Lindau).

On the DB website, however, I can't find this train! If I look for services from Munchen to Memmingen, it gives me very long services that need to change at Ulm.

Do you have any idea if there's been a change in timetable? This is for travel on 27th August.

Thank you!

Hi.

There is only one direct train I know and it is this one:

München Hbf Dep: 1234 | EC train - free of supplements
Memmingen Arr: 1344

All other connections are either with changes in Ulm or Kempten.

Belief the DB schedule planer ( [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] ) as it is more up to date than written paper concerning train connections within Germany.

Hi!

I'm looking for the best way to go from Memmingen Airport to Munich (in fact, I want to go to the Wombats Hostel, but any transportation to the center of Munich will be ok) !

I've read the earliest posts, but maybe there are some updates on this... What is the cheapest way, train or bus? Is there any discount for those with IR ticket?

Thanks :)

Hi.

You will have to pay for the bus from the Airport to the station in Memmingen. It is not really big - a very small town.
Forget about walking, the airport is fare outside - it is an old military air base.
You won\'t need long time to check out. There are only some flights per day and the air plane stops directly 10 meters in front of the main building where you just walk in and get your backpack.
From the station you have several connections to Munich main station (München Hbf) - all train on this route are free to use with a rail pass - it doesn\'t matters which one. Several connections are available per day - you won\'t have to wait longer than 1 hour - travel time around 2 hours:

The Wombats City Hostel is just some meters away (2 minutes) from the main station in Munich - you can walk: https://rail.cc/en/munich/wombats-city-hostel/l337

The cheapest way to get to Memmingen Airport from Munchen HBF I found was to get a train from Munchen to Ulm, then from Ulm to Memmingen. From there, airport buses were just €2.50.

It's a small railway station but with two ticket windows. So I think yes. But no guarantee.
And if you like railcc, buy your Interrail pass before online here in the railcc shop. Then you directly support all the information and this forum: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] - Thank you.
An option would be to use the bus Memmingen Airport to Munich and buy it there at the main station.

Hi.
Just read above.
Memmingen to Munich: follow the link and then the blue shopping carts. As prices depends on date and time you travel.
If you are more than one traveller, a Bayern-Ticket of DBahn might be interesting (only valid for local/regional trains).
The bus airport to the train station is EUR 2,50.
For other bus services I can't give you details, as railcc is a rail travel website. ;)
