Les Terrasses du Port

The "Les Terrasses du Port" is a big and just recently opened shopping center at the port of Marseille. About 190 shops - and as great view over the sea and the port from the 2600 m2 large roof terrace! Open daily 10:00-20:00h (restaurants until 01:00h)! The "Les Terrasses du Port" is accessible by metro (station Joliette).

Corniche Kennedy

The "Corniche Kennedy" is a nearly 4-kilometer coastal road to the west of Marseille. It starts at the "Plage des Catalans" and ends at "Monument aux rapatriés d'Afrique du Nord". It is recommended to walk at least a part of this route, because you want to stop regularly to enjoy the view and take pictures! There is also, thanks to the probably longest bench in the world (length 1.8 km), the possibility to rest umpteen times. If that's still too long to walk for you, simply access bus line 83 from station "Vieux Port" (direction Rond-Point du Prado). The bus serves numerous stations along the "Corniche Kennedy".

Les Goudes

Les Goudes is the last district in the south of Marseille. Here the Massif des Marseilleveyre begins with its spectacular fjord-like inlets, the Calanques. In Les Goudes itself there is a remarkable, small harbor with a few restaurants that offer mostly fresh fish. Les Goudes is best to reach by bus number 19 from "Castellane". Get off at the last stop "La Madrague de Montredon", then change to line 20. Get off at "Les Goudes".
